Experiment 1: Control (Baseline)

A basic gym standing pose with no sweat or fatigue descriptors.

All 3 images show a dry grey t-shirt with black leggings in a standard gym outfit. The t-shirt has a uniform color throughout with minimal body cling. Expression is neutral.

Experiment 2: Sweat-Soaked Shirt

Adding sweat-soaked grey t-shirt clinging to body.

In 3 out of 3 images, the following changes were observed compared to control:

  • Color variation: Darker patches (wet areas) appeared on the chest and abdomen of the t-shirt
  • Body cling: Fabric conformed closely to body contours, making the silhouette more defined
  • Texture change: The dry matte appearance shifted to a slightly glossy wet texture
  • Skin show-through: Wet areas showed a see-through effect in all 3 images

The combination of sweat-soaked and clinging to body was highly effective at altering fabric texture.

Note: Sweat stains tend to spread downward from the chest, giving an impression close to a real post-workout scene.

Experiment 3: Exhausted Expression

Clothing remains the same as control; only the expression is modified.

In 3 out of 3 images, the following changes were observed:

  • Flushed cheeks: flushed cheeks was strongly reflected, with visible pink-to-red flushing on the cheeks
  • Eye expression: All 3 images showed closed or squinted eyes conveying exertion or relief
  • Mouth: Mouth was half-open, suggesting labored breathing
  • Clothing: No change observed. The t-shirt remained dry, identical to control

The flushed cheeks prompt had a particularly strong effect, with cheek flushing being the most noticeable change across all 3 images. Meanwhile, heavy breathing may have contributed to the open mouth, but its isolated effect is difficult to assess since it blends with the overall expression.

Experiment 4: Combined (Sweat + Exhaustion)

Combining both sweat-soaked shirt and exhausted expression prompts.

In 3 out of 3 images, both the clothing changes from the sweat condition and the expression changes from the exhaust condition appeared simultaneously:

  • Clothing: Sweat-induced color variation and body cling were maintained
  • Expression: Flushed cheeks, closed/squinted eyes, and half-open mouth were maintained
  • Additional effect: Sweat droplets were also visible on the forehead, and skin perspiration appeared slightly more pronounced than in the exhaust-only condition

Combining both prompts did not cause either effect to cancel out — they coexisted cleanly.
