This article uses ablation testing (removing elements one at a time to study impact) to identify the “truly necessary parts” of each prompt.

Test 1-B: Remove paper lantern warm light

Result: Does not break — Lanterns naturally appear from the summer festival association; lighting impact is minimal.

Test 1-C: Remove food stalls blurred in background

Result: Does not break — outdoor summer festival grounds at dusk alone sufficiently reproduces the festival background. Without explicitly stating “blurred stalls,” the background naturally blurs and stall-like elements still appear.

Test 1-D: Remove cotton candy in hand

Result: Intent changes — Without the cotton candy, it becomes “a woman in a yukata holding nothing.” No particular hand issues, but the sense of enjoying something at the festival disappears. The style doesn’t break but the scene’s narrative is lost. Considering the hand stabilization effect as well, should be kept.

Note: Without the cotton candy, the subject is simply standing there. Holding something also helps stabilize poses, so this is an element that should not be removed.

Result: Casual composition and natural lighting maintained — The opening A candid iPhone snapshot remains, keeping casual composition and natural lighting. Removing that 21-word block makes little difference. Poor token efficiency.

Test 3-B: Remove opening text (+ long imperfection text also removed)

Result: Some images trend toward professional photography — About 1 in 3 images tends toward a more polished look. Since snapshot aesthetic remains in the trailing text, it doesn’t completely break.

Cafe Snap: Summary

42 words → 21 words (21 words removed = 50% cut). The long text is sufficiently covered by A candid iPhone snapshot and snapshot aesthetic. natural skin texture and coherent anatomy also unnecessary.
